Jennifer Mickel has been a resident of our beautiful city since she was 8 years old, with about 20 years in between exploring the world, working and learning. She attended I.U. in Opera /Vocal studies, Literature, History, and Sciences and received her baccalaureate. Ten years ago she returned to the best small town with BIG town amenities in the United States…. Bloomington, Indiana. Now she runs for Council “at large” in 2011. She is a member of many arts and social associations, including Citizens for Effective Justice . Having been an entrepreneur almost all of her adult life, she owns a landscape design /management company jemmadesigns. You can see her responses to City Council budgets/issues recently and Monroe County Council Comprehensive Plan on Cats TV (ch 12,14). Based upon her education and experiences:

- Citizen social “Club” Charity for necessary social aide, instead of gov’t…,
- Flexible Minimal Business Regulation,
- Constitutional Attention for citizen protection,
- and police management System Reform to be Smart on Crime….and least on taxes,
are her main concerns.
